Hello! Welcome to my Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Journey!
August 2026 (+3 years)
God has invited me to staff with YWAM San Diego/ Baja. I will serve in many areas of ministry in my time here. The type of ministry may change day to day and season to season. On the training side, I will staff the Bible School (C-SBS) that I just attended (more info about that below). This includes discipleship, grading, teaching, and lots of encouraging. On the mercy ministry side, I will help build houses, host mission teams, evangelize, work with base and local kids/communities, and maybe bring some of my experience with special education into theses areas! There will be many opportunities to love and teach people in Mexico – I will probably jump around until I find the right fit(s) for me 🙂
(September 2026-June 2026 )
I attended a 9 months Chronological School of Biblical Studies (C-SBS)! This was an intense season where I studied the Bible paragraph by paragraph with the Inductive Bible Study Method. I sat in classes a few days a week and spent the rest of the days in a lot of independent study (8-10 hours of study time a day- including class M/W/TH). It was a season to grow deeper with the Lord and really understand who he is and real he is. I love sitting in church now and having a real understanding of the Bible knowledge! Yet, there is SO much more to learn!
(September 2024-February 2025)
I was a student in the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Tijuana, Mexico September 2024 to February 2025. I participated in the Trail Blazers track with a focus on reaching the unreached with the gospel. The first three months of this program was a lecture phase where I had the opportunity to attend classes, be involved in a small group, have a mentor, serve the local community, and etc. The last two months was an outreach phase in JAPAN where I applied all that I had learned in the lecture phase to serve and share the love of Jesus!
I was so excited to set aside that time to grow in my relationship with God, meet new people, be uncomfortable, and serve whoever was in front of me.
Matthew 25:35-40 “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
I got to live this verse out every day and it was a blessing- nothing I would rather do more!
The Chronological- School of Biblical Studies (C-SBS) will equip me to teach the Bible and share the gospel more accurately and effectively!
